Terms of Service

These terms apply to services supplied by GTB Paper Shredding to consumers and businesses in the United Kingdom.
1. About us
GTB Paper Shredding is a trading name used by the operator of the website www.gtbpapershredding.com. Our processing facility is at 7 Moat Way, Barwell, Leicestershire, LE9 8EY. We hold an Environment Agency Upper Tier Waste Carrier Licence under reference CBDU340450.
2. Our services
We supply confidential paper shredding on a per-bag basis. Documents are collected or dropped off at one of our three depots (Barwell, Garretts Green, Ross-on-Wye) and shredded at our Barwell facility. A Certificate of Destruction is issued for every job on request.
3. Pricing
Published prices on each service-area page include VAT. Pricing differs by depot: Barwell and Garretts Green operate a 4-tier volume scale; Ross-on-Wye operates a 2-tier scale. Collection within your postcode is charged separately as quoted.
4. Payment
We accept payment by bank transfer using the reference number shown on your order confirmation. Invoices are issued after shredding is complete.
5. Cancellation — consumers
As a consumer ordering at a distance under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from placing the order to cancel it, provided we have not yet collected or started shredding. To cancel, email info@gtbpapershredding.com.
6. Confidentiality
Documents handed over to us remain your property until shredded. Our staff do not read, photograph, or retain copies. Vehicles used for collection are tracked and staff are DBS-checked.
7. Liability
We carry public-liability insurance. Our liability for any one job is limited to the value of that job except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded (for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
8. Data protection
We process only the personal data required to quote for and fulfil a shredding job. See our Privacy Policy for how that data is stored and for how long.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be heard by the courts of England and Wales.
